• Low maintenance gardens.
• Compact varieties suitable for containers as well as garden borders.
• Great effects when mass planted or mixed with others in collection.
• Cottage or wild flower style gardens.

Cultural care

Low water requirements once established -occasional long soaks during extended periods of heat is recommended. Prefers a rich but well draining soil.
No pruning generally required other than to tidy old flower stems or leaves. 
Feed in spring with slow release fertiliser. 
Mulch well to retain moisture during dry periods. 
Frost hardy once established.
