Moderate.
Lustrous, dark green, pinnate leaves with five to nine leaflets that have a distinctly lighter underside. Deep burgundy and fiery brick reds in autumn. In winter, the leaves hold on the tree longer than normal for the species.
Attractive grey to dark greyish-brown. Becoming ridged and furrowed with age.
Reported (overseas) to be seedless.
Narrowly ovate, becoming broader with age. Uniformly upright.
Inconspicuous.
