Cultural care

Low water requirements once established. Plant in a well-draining potting mix in pots or enriched, good-draining soil in garden beds. Tidy after flowering by removing old flower heads. Feed in early spring with a slow-release fertiliser for best results. Prune plants back by a third in winter to encourage strong new growth in the spring.
