Burgundy Star™
Is a tall narrow, upright deciduous tree that is distinctly columnar, covered in gorgeous, lightly fragrant, claret red blooms, up to 25cm across, in early spring . Prolonged flowering season. Ideal for small gardens, courtyards and driveway plantings. Will grow well in most climates, tolerating all but the coldest temperatures, although they do perform best in full sun.

Prune and shape upper branches immediately after flowering if needed.

Will grow well in most climates, tolerating all but the coldest temperatures, although they do perform best in full sun. Allow a few seasons for flowers to develop to true size and colour. Benefits from use of control release fertiliser annually.
TREE CARE:
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
