Moderate to fast.
The rich green foliage is finely textured and is deeply divided into three main lobes. Autumn colour is attractive and consists of reds, oranges and yellows.
Greyish-brown, becoming scaly with age.
Tiny golden crab apples are produced from summer into autumn and provide a wonderful display, especially when in full autumn colour.
Upright, becoming vase shaped, with finer outer branches spreading slightly horizontal. Open habit.
Produces masses of tiny white blooms during spring.
