A lovely flowering apricot with masses of delicately scented, double pink flowers opening in mid-winter. A lovely splash of winter colour for small parks and gardens.

The lustrous green, rounded to ovate leaves, up to 10 cm long and 6 cm wide, are finely serrated, with a pinched apex. Subtle rustic bronzy colours in autumn.
Small, green fruits. Bitter and generally inedible.
An upright branching, low bushy small tree, spreading as the tree matures.
Large, semi-double, soft pink flowers up to 2.5 cm diameter, borne tightly, solitary or in pairs on the slender bare branches in late winter to early spring. Delicately fragrant.
